"Devotion (Investor Collab #4)
We brewed the fourth and final beer in our investor collaboration series with Sebastian van Wijk. From the very beginning, we had the same thought: if this is the final beer, we’re going all out! After reviewing the recipe, we arrived at a Hazy Quadruple IPA, built around some of our favourite hops.
Citra Cryo and Mosaic Cryo in the whirlpool give the beer a rich layer of citrus and ripe stone fruit. In the dry hop, they’re joined by El Dorado T90, which pushes the aroma further towards mango, orange and pineapple.
The base consists of Pilsner malt, wheat and a generous amount of oats, and is beautifully rounded out by the LAIII yeast. There’s a lot going on in this beer: the result is powerful and intense, yet surprisingly drinkable. That’s why the beer was named Devotion: a nod to the dedication that went into creating this beer and the investor collaboration series from start to finish!
